Terms and Conditions
This text is a working draft, written from what's currently described on the site. It should be reviewed (ideally with an accountant or lawyer) before final publication, and especially once the RNAAT registration is complete, since the registration number is legally required to appear here and in the site's footer.
1. Who we are
Beyond Tejo is a tourism animation project operated by Vasco Campêlo, based in Herdade das Pedras de Cima E.M. 511, 7800-593 Beja, Portugal. RNAAT registration No. in progress.
2. The tours
Each tour (currently, "Secrets of Beja" and "Mértola: The Hidden Kingdom of the Guadiana") has its duration, price and conditions described on its own page. What's included and not included in each tour is shown on that same page before booking.
3. Bookings
At this time, bookings aren't paid online: they're requested through the form, WhatsApp or email, and are only confirmed once a date has been agreed directly with Vasco. There's no automatic charge.
4. Cancellations
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour. For cancellations outside this window, or in case of extreme weather, we'll get in touch to find the best solution.
5. Complaints book
We keep a physical and electronic complaints book, as required by Portuguese law. You can access the electronic complaints book at livroreclamacoes.pt.
6. Liability
The tours take place on foot, in public spaces and at monuments open to the public. Each participant is responsible for assessing their own fitness for the route described. Transport, accommodation and meals not included are each participant's responsibility, unless stated otherwise.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law.
